Job Description of Designer:

Knowledge on International Home Textile Market is compulsory.

Make samples as per buyer’s trends and inspirations & Undertaking research for Ideas.

To conceptualize and design Soft Home Furnishing products like, Decorative Cushions, Bedspreads, Curtains, Throws, Table Linen etc. for competitive markets.

Producing design ideas, sketches, samples to present for customers.

Keeping up with new fashions & trends, design &Techniques.

Work proficiently on computers to design and make CADS using Corel draw with Adobe Photoshop, etc.

Forecast colours, trends and designs for export markets. Create samples / innovative fabrications with tailors and other craft artisans.

Candidate Requirement:

1. Textile Design Graduates from Reputed Institutes.
2. The candidate should be a dynamic person who is able to come up with out of box innovative ideas for the home furnishing industry, be able to read trends and forecast, do market research.
3. Should be able to understand buyer’s requirements, prepare samples / product development and ensure that it is done timely.
4. Should be a good organizer, proactive willing team player having an eye for detail.
5. Have good command in written and spoken English.
6. Additional knowledge of Office applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook will be welcome.
7. Willing to Travel for fairs and markets for fabric innovation and trends.
