Roles and Responsibilities

The QS /SC Auditor assignment is to support the sourcing team, qualify and coach suppliers and factories to improve the production conditions to an acceptable and consistent social compliance and QMS level.

-Plan and perform factory Social Compliance Audit, Environmental audits and Quality System audits;

-Write audit report and corrective action plan (CAP); and follow up on improvements

-Evaluate suppliers/ factories based on BSCI/ISO 9001 standards and/or ICA Internal standards and recommendations;

-Organize training sessions for external and internal parties;(incl, supplier, factory, IGS internal team, third party audit team…etc.)

-Educate and support suppliers/Factories for improving quality levels and assisting in entering the BSCI scheme;

-Assist second and third-party audits and CAPs;

-Building up the factory’s technical knowledge in order to follow and achieve IGS clients quality requirements;

-Develop and maintain the products-related QA system and procedures (incl. testing requirements);

-Work with Quality Manager(s) to secure production set up of new items in the factories to meet IGS clients’ quality requirements. Develop capabilities when necessary;

-Understand production line for improvement and give suggestions/action when needed;

-Contact and cooperate with third-party audit team, take lead to arrange the audit; ensure all active factory audit reports will be renewed before the expiry date;

-Responsible for excellent file and data management;
