A Private Locker Custodian is responsible for the secure management of customers' safe deposit lockers, ensuring confidentiality, safety, and excellent customer service.
Private Locker Custodian – Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of private locker facilities.
- Verify customer identity and complete access procedures before granting locker access.
- Maintain accurate locker access registers and digital records.
- Ensure strict compliance with security protocols and company policies.
- Assist customers during locker visits while maintaining complete privacy and confidentiality.
- Monitor CCTV systems and coordinate with security personnel when required.
- Handle locker allotment, renewals, transfers, and closure procedures.
- Collect locker rental payments and issue receipts (if applicable).
- Maintain locker keys, master key records, and key inventory securely.
- Report lost keys, security incidents, or suspicious activities immediately.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure locker systems remain functional.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Resolve customer queries and provide professional service.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure locker facility.
