A Private Locker Custodian is responsible for the secure management of customers' safe deposit lockers, ensuring confidentiality, safety, and excellent customer service.

Private Locker Custodian – Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of private locker facilities.
  • Verify customer identity and complete access procedures before granting locker access.
  • Maintain accurate locker access registers and digital records.
  • Ensure strict compliance with security protocols and company policies.
  • Assist customers during locker visits while maintaining complete privacy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and coordinate with security personnel when required.
  • Handle locker allotment, renewals, transfers, and closure procedures.
  • Collect locker rental payments and issue receipts (if applicable).
  • Maintain locker keys, master key records, and key inventory securely.
  • Report lost keys, security incidents, or suspicious activities immediately.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure locker systems remain functional.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Resolve customer queries and provide professional service.
  • Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure locker facility.
