Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and technically capable Factory & Facility Maintenance Executive to manage the overall maintenance, cleanliness, utilities and day-to-day operational support of our manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the factory premises, water supply, electrical systems, equipment, warehouse and essential facilities remain functional, safe and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall Facility Management: Take responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep, smooth functioning and maintenance of the entire manufacturing unit.

• Water Supply & Plumbing: Monitor water availability, storage tanks, pumps, pipelines, plumbing, drainage and related facilities.

• Electrical Maintenance: Monitor electrical systems, lighting, power supply and basic electrical issues, coordinating qualified technicians for repairs when required.

• Building & Equipment Maintenance: Identify maintenance issues, arrange timely repairs and conduct routine inspections of the building, machinery and equipment.

• Housekeeping & Hygiene: Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across production areas, warehouse, office spaces, restrooms and the factory surroundings.

• Warehouse Management: Support the proper storage, organization and movement of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and maintenance supplies.

• Preventive Maintenance: Maintain daily inspection checklists and maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and operational disruptions.

• Vendor & Technician Coordination: Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, equipment technicians, housekeeping personnel and external service providers.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain workplace safety, proper waste disposal, fire safety readiness and compliance with applicable factory procedures.

• Inventory & Records: Maintain records of maintenance activities, repair expenses, utility usage, spare parts and facility-related purchases.

• Operational Support: Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure the unit operates efficiently without avoidable interruptions.

• Reporting: Report maintenance issues, repair requirements, operational risks and expenses to management promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI, Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical qualification preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in factory maintenance, facility management, manufacturing operations or warehouse supervision.

• Practical knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, general repairs and facility upkeep.

• Ability to identify problems, coordinate repairs and follow up until issues are resolved.

• Good organizational, communication and vendor coordination skills.

• Willingness to take ownership, work independently and handle day-to-day responsibilities proactively.

• Basic computer skills for maintaining checklists, stock records and maintenance reports.

• Experience in a food processing, FMCG, cosmetics or similar manufacturing unit will be an advantage.
