Job Title: Courier Office Staff / Operations Assistant
Location: ST Courier – Kinathukadavu Branch, Coimbatore
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and energetic Courier Office Staff member to handle daily branch operations, customer service, booking of consignments, and parcel tracking activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and book courier parcels and documents.
- Prepare consignment notes, invoices, and receipts.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding rates, delivery status, and services.
- Track shipments and coordinate with hub and delivery staff.
- Maintain daily booking, dispatch, and delivery records.
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing parcels.
- Perform basic computer data entry and report generation.
- Manage cash collections and daily accounts reconciliation.
- Coordinate with branch manager and regional office for operational requirements.
- Ensure parcels are packed, labeled, and dispatched correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and parcel storage area.
Required Skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email, internet usage).
- Good communication skills in Tamil; basic English preferred.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Eligibility
- Qualification: 12th Pass / Diploma / Any Degree.
- Experience: Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
- Age: 20–35 years preferred.
- Local candidates from Kinathukadavu, Pollachi, or nearby areas preferred.
- Two-wheeler and driving license will be an added advantage.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Salary
- ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
