Service Engineer / Technical Service Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair technical equipment such as tailoring CAD systems. Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Polytechnic
- Diploma or any degree
Experience
- Freshers can apply
- 0 to 2 years of experience in service, maintenance, or technical support is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client locations for installation, commissioning, and servicing of machines
- Install and commission machines at customer sites
- Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and attend breakdown calls
- Diagnose faults in electronic and mechanical components
- Replace, repair, or calibrate parts as required
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Maintain service reports, job records, and documentation
- Train customers on basic operation and care of machines
- Coordinate with senior engineers and service managers
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Basic understanding of electronics, electrical systems, and hardware
- Ability to read and understand manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documents
- Basic computer knowledge (Windows OS, drivers, software installation)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel to client locations for installation and service purposes
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
