Playschool Teachers

Job Summary:

The Bellwether Junior School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Playschool Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Playschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of early childhood development, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for our youngest students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Development:
    • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the playschool curriculum.
    • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity and exploration.
  2. Child Development:
    • Observe and assess the developmental progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed.
    • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning activities.
  3. Classroom Management:
    • Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom setting conducive to learning.
    • Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  4. Parent Communication:
    • Establish open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and milestones.
    • Collaborate with parents to create a strong home-school partnership.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with other playschool teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational environment.
    • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
  6. Safety and Well-being:
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the playschool program.
    • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including first aid and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced candidate or Freshers with Advanced Diploma in Montessori can apply.
  • Relevant teaching certification or licensure.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a playschool or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners.
