Description
We are looking for a high-energy Marketing Executive to drive brand awareness, manage dealer networks, and identify new market opportunities in Coimbatore and surrounding industrial hubs. You will be responsible for translating JSW Steel’s global reputation into local market dominance.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development: Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, including structural engineers, architects, developers, and local contractors.
Dealer & Distributor Management: Regular visits to retail outlets and stockists to ensure product visibility, maintain stock health, and gather market feedback.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor regional pricing trends, competitor branding activities (JSW, TATA, VIZAG, etc.), and local market share.
Branding & Activation: Execute on-ground marketing activities, including mason meets, dealer boards installation, and local trade exhibitions.
Lead Generation: Proactively hunt for upcoming residential and commercial projects in the Coimbatore region to push direct or dealer-led sales.
Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports on market reach, feedback on "Loading/Unloading/Freight" logistics concerns from dealers, and sales forecasts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Civil Engineering background is a plus). MBA MUST
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably in the Steel, Cement, or Construction materials industry.
Language: Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory for local stakeholder communication.
Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Coimbatore geography and local industrial sectors.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and digital reporting platforms.
Preferred Attributes
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
A "field-first" mindset (willingness to travel extensively within the district).
Ability to work independently and meet monthly branding/lead targets.
A valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler license and own vehicle for local travel.
