Backend engineer job description:
- Design and implement modern-day web applications following best-practice patterns.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Proficient in creating Javascript-based API Endpoints that connect to a variety of data stores (Nodejs,MySQL, Mongo, etc.)
- Experience using AWS services or willing to learn (Lambda, EBS, EC2, etc.)
- Experience with backend programming languages (Ex: Javascript, Python etc.)
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git).
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile development practices
