Estimation Engineer

Job Description

ESTIMATION & TENDERING:

• To review and manage the customers enquiry process into a costed workable solution.
• Technical Bid
• To submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide answers/responses to any subsequent request for clarification.
• Prepare Bill of material extract from the enquiry specification.
• Prepare Bill of material costing.
• Costing for Panel, bus bar, wiring & packing.
• Quotation preparation.
• Follow-ups orders with customer & post order activities.
• Documentation & pre-sale support.
• Prepare the Commercial offer & further negotiation in winning the bid.
• Single point-of-contact for customer interaction regarding execution, delivery dispatches its related documentation & payment related issues.
• Review the PO Terms & updating the information in the Contract Review Form release the documents for the further execution orders to Order Handling Department.
• BOQ Estimation for the following
• LT Panels (PCC, MCC, PMCC,PDB,AC,DB,LDB,DC Starter Panel),
• Relay Panels (Generator Control Relay Metering Panel (GCRMP), Metering Cum Synchronizing Panel(MCSP),
• HT Panel, MCC, PCC, APFC Panel, AMF Systems, PDB, Control and Relay Panel, Instrumentation Panels, PLC / DCS panel, Hazardous area Panel.
• To respond to customer questions & requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• To handle incoming sales calls and enquiries in a busy office, by keeping a prioritized listing of outstanding tasks and when completed, filing the quotes and cost file in the appropriate network location.

Co-ordinate and build positive relationship within different departments of the organization to deliver the best services as per the commitment given to customer, in-line with the customer expectations.

Develop & maintain good network with customers and Channel Partners. 9. Report and MIS preparation.

Core Functional Knowledge:

PLC, HMI, SCADA, Motion Servos, Sensors, Safety Vision, Components

Robotics product experience would be an added advantage.

Experience to handle big End user and/or Auto OEMs and/or Auto Component Manufacturers.

• Willingness to travel
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• B.E-EEE, AUTOMATION ENGG, MBA or equivalent diploma
